It's good to ask questions, especially if you are a new buyer/seller, and we prepare a list of commonly asked questions for you to review in preparation for your journey to your dream home.

Question1: How long does an inspection take?

A typical inspection should take around 3 hours to complete. This can vary, given the current condition and size of the home, the accessibility of mechanical systems, and so on. As a courtesy to sellers, we recommend that they are informed of the timeframe in a pre-purchase home inspection situation.

Question 2: What does an inspector look at?

 

We inspect the major systems of the house. These include the Roof, Exterior, Structure, Electrical, Heating system, Air condition, Plumbing System, water tank system, Insulation, kitchen, washroom, bedroom and public area floors, interior walls, ceilings. Our goal is to identify any existing major problems that would affect a typical buyer's decision to purchase.

Question 3: Can I come during the inspection?

We highly encourage any buyer to attend the inspections! Please do not ask any questions during the inspections, as we will leave time afterward specifically to hear all your questions/concerns. please don't climb to roof if you are not allowed by the inspector. please take care of yourself safe.

Question 4: When can I get the inspection report?

We will email our digital home inspection report (PDF format) to our client within the same day of the inspection.

Question 5: Can I ask any questions after I received the inspection report?

Yes, We will answer your questions anytime once you received your home inspction report, even years later.

Question 6: Can you refer a contractor for my renovation?

Sure, We can't do any renovations for you, but we can refer a qualified contractor for you.
